Since opening in 2007 the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre has proven to be an exciting facility enjoyed
not only by WA’s water sport fraternity but the community as a whole. The 55 hectare lake includes a
2000m international standard rowing course, separate warm up areas and two public swimming beaches.
Surrounding the lake are over 11 kilometres of sealed pathways utilised for cycling, running and walking
activities. The Sports Island provides essential facilities including change rooms, toilets, a
judging/commentary tower and a scenic function area.
VenuesWest are committed to providing Western Australia with a true home for national and international
water sports through the continued development of the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre.

All bookings consisting of 200 people or more are required to have a qualified first aid officer on site for to
duration of their booking. Client can provide this themselves or VenuesWest can provide.

Sales of Food and Beverage
VenuesWest reserves all rights to catering at the Venue and may assign those rights to its nominated
caterer. VenuesWest may consider allowing the Licensee to provide catering itself at the Venue during the
Event on such conditions as it deems fit. In the absence of express notice to the contrary, such conditions
will include that no commercial caterer may operate at the Venue except VenuesWest’s specified caterer
and no alcohol may be sold or supplied at the Venue.
