Currently doing a research project with Metropolitan University of Leeds entitled:
The impact of healthcare staff’s understanding, development and usage of assessment tools
within the spiritual care of patients: A qualitative research study.
Also interested in definitions of spirituality? And whether spirituality is a recognised and
understood concept in the population generally? Is there a wide gulf between theory and
practice? Will the word spirituality eventually ‘die out of usage’ because of lack of
understanding and/or too many definitions?
