Braem Al Islam Group 1: Boys and Girls (5-7 years)
**Arabic Language Session:
 A general revision has been done for all of the letters that have been taken
so far. They also revised the Fatha.
 A new letter has been added the alphabet ‫ل‬.
 The alphabet letters that have been taken so far are:
‫ث‬, ‫ب‬, ‫ت‬, ‫خ‬, ‫ج‬, ‫ح‬, ‫د‬, ‫ذ‬, ‫م‬, ‫ر‬, ‫ز‬, ‫ص‬, ‫ض‬, ‫ س‬,
‫ش‬, ,‫غ‬, ‫ع‬, ,‫ط‬, ‫ظ‬, ‫ف‬,‫ق‬,‫ك‬,‫ل‬
**Qur’an:
 The children with teacher Heba were practising and memorising the whole
Surah Al-Doha ‫الضحى‬.
 Please work with your children on learning this surah
**Islamic Studies:
 Teacher Heba spent a whole session on explaining and talking about the
Blessed Night of Al-Isra’a and Al-Mi’rajj.
 She talked about details of this journey, the real meaning of it and the lessons
and messages behind it.
 The children were all busy doing an activity illustrating the Al-Isra’a and AlMi’rajj journey.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please make sure that your child spends time writing and practising the
Arabic alphabet letters that they have already learnt and try to highlight them
when they read Qur’an as well.
 We noticed that some children are still struggling with their Quran so please
try to spend more time on reading Qur’an with your child for 10 minutes+ and
fill in the Quran planner as appropriate.
 Please try to talk and recap to your children about the Blessed Night of AlIsra’a and Al-Mi’rajj; its details, meanings, events and the messages behind it.
 For more information and to revise for your kids, I recommend referring to
the Al-Nabulsi’ encyclopaedia of Islamic Science. This website is available in
different languages which makes it really helpful.
 For those students whose tongue is not Arabic, I recommend that you
download the Ayat (‫ )آيات‬App or ’’The Quran House’’ ِapp if you want your
children to enhance their Quran reading with Tajweed.
 Please try to read, as bedtime story, to your kids from Syrah or the Islamic
History in a way to improve their Islamic behaviour and manners by finding
Islamic role models.
Braem Al Islam Group2: Boys and Girls (5-7 years)
**Arabic Language Session:
 The children have practised writing and saying the letters :

 The children played a fun game to practise the letters that have just been

revised.
The alphabet letters that have been taken so far are:

**Qur’an:
 The children in this group were revising their 4 Surahs. They are: Al-Falaq (
‫)الفلق‬, Al-Nass (‫)الناس‬, Al-Fatiha(‫ )الفاتحة‬and Al-Ikhlas(‫)اإلخالص‬
**Islamic Studies:
 In the last session, teacher Helen has focused on the Blessed Night of Al-Isra’a
and Al-Mi’rajj.
 The children learned about the Al-Isra’a and Al-Mi’rajj; events that happened
in the Night Journey, meaning and the lessons that we can learn from it.
**Activities:
 As an activity the children coloured a sketch of the Mosque Al-Aqsa and stuck
it onto black card and decorated it with silver and gold stars.
 At the end, teacher Helen told the children an exciting story about Al-Isra’a
and Al-Mi’rajj.

Petals of Islam: girls (7-9)
** Islamic Studies:
 Teacher Faida explored with the girls about the Blessed Night of Al-Isra’a
and Mi’rajj.
 She talked in details about the Prophet Mohammad’s journey from Makah
to Al-Aqsa Mosque and then to the Heaven.
 Details about the journey, its meanings and the messages behind it were
explained.
 Also, a brief about the evidences that Prophet Mohammad told the people
to prove that he indeed travelled to the city of Al-Quds.
 The prophets that he saw in each heaven.
 Also she talked about the attitude of the believers and disbelievers.
 A model of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock were showed to the
girls to illustrate the difference between them.
**Quran:
 Teacher Faida is now working with the girls on the Surah Al-Shams (‫)الشمس‬.
 They learned up to the Ayah 7.
 Please work with your girls on learning and memorising these Ayahs.
** Islamic Manners
 Teacher Faida explained to the girls about the respecting the privacy of the
others.
 How we have been told by the Holy Quran and through Prophet
Mohammad’s Syrah to be very careful so we don’t break this privacy.
 Next lesson will be about the forgiveness.
**Activities:
 The girls were practising the Muhajireen (immigrants) and the Ansar



(Supporters) Play which they will perform at the end of the term.
This time the boys joined to take part in the play.
All the kids practised the Onshoda (‫ )طلع البدر علينا‬to be sung in the play at the
end of the academic year.
Roles in the play have been given to the girls and boys to practise at home. So
please encourage your girls to practise at home.

Allah and be kind to the parents and other people.

Ahebaa Allah Class: Girls (10+)
**Qur'an:
 Teacher Zainab has given another new 5 Ayahs of Surah ِAbasa (‫)عبس‬.
 Now the girls have to practise the first 10 Ayahs with Tajweed at home every
day for at least 10minutes+ to enable them to learn and memorise them.
The stars in the Prophet’s Orbit Book:
 Teacher Zainab has carried on talking about the bibliography of the
companion Abu Obida Ibn Al-Jarrah.
 The girls have been asked to read in the class and to take part in the
explanation and the discussion.
 A whole revision will be given about all the sessions have been taken so far
from the book on Friday the 22nd of May. Then there will be a short
questions assessment on the 5th of June after the half term break.
**The Islamic Studies:
 Teacher Khadijah explored with the girls about the Blessed Night of AlIsra’a and Mi’rajj.
 She talked in details about the Prophet Mohammad’s journey from Makah
to Al-Aqsa Mosque and then to the Heaven.
 Details about the journey, its meanings and the messages behind it were
explained.
 Also, a brief about the evidences that Prophet Mohammad told the people
to prove that he indeed travelled to the city of Al-Quds.
 The prophets that he saw in each heaven.
 Also she talked about the attitude of the believers and disbelievers.
 A model of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock were showed to the
girls to illustrate the difference between them.
 Teacher Zainab split the girl into two groups and asked them do a
summary with drawing about this Blessed Night’s journey on a A3
coloured cards.
**Weekly tasks for parents:
 Please encourage your child to truthfully perform Salat, read Quran and
remembering Allah.
 Work with them to learn and memorise the new ayahs from the Surah Abasa
with Tajweed.
 The girls have to read the bibliography of the companion Abu Obidah Ibn AlJarrah from the book “STARS IN THE PROPHET’S ORBIT“.
 Please make sure that the girls bring their book to the session every week
from now and forward as we will study the book every week.
 Please ask your girls to read and revise the all previous sessions from the

Fetyan Al-Islam: Boys (8-11)
**Qur'an:
 Teacher Asmaa revised the first 5 Ayahs from the Surah Abasa (‫)عبس‬.
 More new9 Ayahs were given to the boys until Ayah20, so please make sure
that your child learns and memorises these Ayahs.
** Islamic Studies:
 Teacher Asmaa explored with the boys about the Blessed Night of Al-Isra’a
and Mi’rajj.
