Scenario 1

Computer Lab – Ideally in the school schedule an intervention block should be provided (see sample schedule below). All students who require intervention at the grade level should then receive 3 x 30 minute sessions weekly for elementary.

Middle and High school students should receive 3 x 45 minute sessions weekly. A teacher assistant or a teacher specified by a rotation on the grade level team would be responsible for escorting students to the computer lab for required intervention. Face-to-face sessions with the classroom teacher would occur the other two days.

Scenario 2

Laptop carts – Laptop cart rotation on a grade level team would be assigned through a checkout schedule. Students would access laptops in the classroom or an assigned location for reaching all students who are in need of intervention.

Laptop carts should be plugged in at the end of the day for ideal charge.

Scenario 3

Classroom computers only – Teachers in classrooms would be responsible for allocating time throughout the day for students in need of intervention.
