REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE NOVEMBER 2015 MINUTES PUBLIC /NON PUBLIC
SESSIONS
Add Dick Geden’s name to non-public session minutes for November 19th.

TREASURER’S REPORT-Susan Bucknam
The November financial reports were presented. Discussion was had concerning
the amount spent to date out of town funds
LIBRARY DIRECTOR’S REPORT-Nancy McCue
Circulation down by 15% from November 2014. Online Audio and E book usage
continues to increase. There were 22 new patron cards issued. The program room
was used 40 times. 226 people attended library sponsored programs with 85
attending programs sponsored by outside groups. AnneMarie’s Tech classes had
a total of 86 attendees. This included a weekly user group of 35; iPhone/iPad:22;
Smartphone/Kindle/Social media:12 and one on one:17. Tonight will be the
lighting of the Christmas tree. Christmas Open House and Children’s Party is
scheduled for December 11th. Patron counter for the month of November-4009.
FRIENDS OF LIBRARY REPORT-Carol Bamberry
A NHHC “Petticoat Patriot” program will be offered this summer. A CPR class is
being offered on Wednesday January 13th at 5PM. There are currently 248
members-one of the largest library organizations in the state. On January 27th, the
Corner House will donate 10% of the evening’s receipts to the Friends. Once
again we will have a Soup and Sweets lunch. The new Woodshed will be on the
June house tour. The next Friends meeting is March 10th at 10AM.
COMMITTEE REPORTS-Landscaping-Meg Greenbaum –Sharon Gulla got all the
Christmas trees. Art-Ginny Gassman has arranged to have a display of quilts for
January in the Program Room-will be there for 6 weeks.
OLD BUSINESS
2016 budget has been submitted to the selectman and the ABC committee. Laurie
Whitley has a meeting with the ABC on the 11th.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussed the report for the town meeting. Looked at draft.
Laurie Whitley handed out rough draft for professional development policy-will
continue discussion at next meeting
