Choose your own spelling assignments! You must choose at least three activities in
a tic-tac toe design. Color in each box as you complete each assignment. All three
assignments are due by Thursday. Have fun!
Word Processing Practice
Use the computer to type all the
spelling words. Make it fun by using
different fonts, colors or sizes. You
may also add pictures. Print out your
work or email it to me.
Music
Write a song using all of your spelling
words.
Flashcards
Make a set of flashcards to study all your
words. Put the spelling word on the front and
the meaning on the back. Use the flashcards to
study.

Drawing
Pretend you are at your favorite
outside place. Draw a picture of
what you see. “Hide” your words in
the picture.
Short Story
Using all of your spelling words,
create a short story. Remember,
stories have a beginning, middle and
end.

Make 2 copies. Make one into an answer
key and use the other for a friend or
classmate.
Magazine Art
Using various sources (old
magazines, newspapers, clipart,
etc.) find a picture or draw a
representation for each word. Do
not forget to write the word beside
the picture. Be creative!
Keep all of your work in your homework folder. On Thursday, put all work in the homework
