Grade 11 Representative (Two Positions)
The Student Council Grade 11 Representative plays an essential role
in
the leadership of the entire student body. The Grade 11 Representative is expected to
attend all weekly Student Council meetings and to support and attend all Student
Council activities.
The Grade 11 Representative must:
i. See that the Student Council abides by the constitution and follows parliamentary
procedures;
ii. Attend all Student Council meetings;
iii. Become a liaison between their grade and the Student Council;
iv. Accept ideas from the student body and pass them on the Student Council;
v. Perform duties delegated by the Student Council;
vi. Behave in such a way that upholds the honour of the school and the Student
Council.
To be eligible to run for Student Council, the student must:
i. Have a student card;
ii. Maintain an acceptable level of academic standing (70% cumulative average);
iii. Be nominated by two students in his/her grade;
iv. Obtain a staff signature;
v. Be fully prepared and willing to live up to the aforementioned obligations.

Completed nomination forms must be completed and brought to the MANDATORY
information meeting. Late submissions will be disqualified. If there are any reasons that
you cannot attend the meeting or if you have questions or concerns, please contact
Gary Li (President), Jullian Yapeter (Vice President), Dawson Li (Grade 11
Representative) or Emily Yau (Grade 11 Representative).
