I specialize in working with children (ages 5 and up), teens and adults who are victims of trauma including child abuse, loss and death, domestic violence, attachment injuries and
other major life events. Along with talk therapy (CBT), I utilize numerous trauma treatment modalities including EMDR and somatic processing. Trauma is stored physically as well
as emotionally; therefore processing trauma somatically using cues from the body encourages the reintegration of emotional wellness. When the brain does not remember, the body
does. My website is www.starlynwinger.com.
