OBITUARY NOTICE
An obituary is a notice or announcement, especially in a newspaper, of a
person's death, often with a short account of their life. It is often the first
thing many people read in the news each day and may be the last word
written about a person's life.
Your task:
Actively read the placard about the Battle of

A typical obituary has five parts: the announcement of the death,
how he died biographical information, scheduled ceremonies
(viewing and burial arrangements), and contributions.

The following list explains the five major components, or parts, of a news
article:
 The Headline is the title of the news article. The headline should be
short, does not include a lot of detail, and should catch the readers’
attentions.

The Byline tells who is writing the article.

The Lead Paragraph is found at the beginning of the article. The lead
briefly answers the questions “who”, “what”, “when”, “why”, “where”,
and “how”.

The Supporting Paragraph follow. They give more information in the
form of details.
