_____________ Celebrates Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week
The level of integrity of corporations has gained worldwide attention – often for the
wrong reasons. But increasingly, organizations are recognizing that a strong
compliance and ethics program is not just a smart idea, it’s good for business. To
acknowledge the positive impact of corporate compliance and ethics on
organizations, the Health Care Compliance Association and the Society of Corporate
Compliance and Ethics have designated November 1-7 Corporate Compliance and
Ethics Week. During the week, which begins next Monday, _____________ will
recognize and promote the importance that integrity, corporate responsibility, and
compliance and ethics have to our mission.
Each day of Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, you will receive an email from
Compliance and Ethics to share news and ideas, and to announce the schedule of
events for the day. We hope you will show your compliance spirit by taking the time
to participate in some of the fun activities. Among them:

Department heads have nominated their choices of “Compliance and Ethics

Compliance, Ethics, Honesty & Integrity. Throughout the week, all
employees can cast votes via the Intranet.

Our formal Compliance and Ethics Program establishes our expectations for how
employees should conduct themselves. It promotes good corporate citizenship,
identifies high-risk areas, prevents and detects violations of of our Code of Conduct,
and ensures that we comply with federal, state and local laws. Much of the work
done by the Compliance and Ethics Department goes on without fanfare. During
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, let’s all be sure to recognize the
department’s diligent efforts and celebrate the compliance and ethics values we all
work everyday to uphold.
