Event Parameters
2: Competitors bring and correctly wear safety glasses/spectacles with side shields at all times
2.a: All materials brought in a “junk box” with a lid, with the sum of the widest outside dimensions including the
lid (length + width + height) no greater than 95.0 cm
2.b: Box contains at least 1 and up to 5 standard size, unaltered plastic practice golf balls
2.b: Box contains at least 1 and up to 8 standard size, unaltered golf balls
2.b: Box contains at least 1 and up to 10 standard size, unaltered tennis balls
2.b: Box contains at least 1 Styrofoam or paper plate (max dimension 10 ½ inch) and cup
2.b: In addition to the above, box contains only:
- additional Styrofoam or paper plates, bowls & cups
- Spools of any non-metallic string/line/thread/tape

Category B Challenge - General Rules
5.a: Competitors choose, during construction, which single type (& number) of ball(s) to release in their
device (max: 5 unaltered plastic golf balls/8 unaltered standard golf balls/10 unaltered standard tennis balls)
5.d: Competitors do not adjust the target and device location once the testing positions are chosen
5.e: At least one ball reach the target distance (otherwise, participation points only)
5.g: Competitors release all chosen balls only once within 2 minutes
5.g.i: Challenge B.1 – Elevated Ramp
Competitors use their junk box or make a container for the collection container
Free-standing ramp is elevated the entire distance
Ramp does not touch or connect to the collection container
Direct, straight-line distance between the closest successful starting point and the closest edge of the
