Is SpiritualDirectionforMe? ~The spirituallife
opens up great adventures as it takes the soul nearer to
God. Those who take the spiritual life seriously can expect
times of consolation and desolation, times when God
seems near and times when God seems distant. Prayer can
be filled with intimacy with God or it can seem like a dry
desert. There are stuck times, times when you will feel like
you have been to the mountain and times when you will
angst over the best decision to make in life. Spiritual
direction offers the skills of a trained listener to walk with
the seeker through the ups and downs of the spiritual
journey. Lead by prayer and theguidance of the Holy Spirit,
director and directee walk in a kind of mutual learning and
trust as God opens new doors and insights along the way.
Thefruitsofsuchatimeare many.ComeandSee.
I have felt called to offer women attending Firstfruits a time for
sharing their journey in a one-on-one experience to discern
together where the Spiritismoving. Spiritual directionhelps the

Seeing Life with God's Eyes ~ The hunger for God that dwells
withineachofuscallsustogreater love:LoveforGod,forthethings
ofGodandforthe people of God.Butoftenthe question emerges:
"How can I see with the Eyes of God?" I will address three very
tangible ways to connect with the mind of God. St. Paul has said
"Forwhohasknownthemindofthe Lord,soastocounselhim?But
we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16)." We come to know God's
mind, and see with God's eyes by knowing the God of the
scriptures, by getting in touch with our own desires, and
understanding the dynamic of the Paschal mystery operating
within our lives. It is not complicated. It just requires our
attentiveness.Come,seelifeinanew way!

God's Truth Is Freedom ~ This intercessory and petitioning
prayer assists individuals to identify flawed beliefs from
memories that are causing negative emotions, stressed
relationships or emotional pain. During the prayer process a
personchoosesto lookatrecurring negative feelings, exposethe
source, and find truth through experiencing Jesus, leading to
lasting freedom in that area of their lives. This takes place in an
intimate, gentle, and confidential setting where two ministers
praywithonerecipienttobring thepresenceandtruthofChristto
