Details about the 10 workshops:
1. Carolyn Congdon (Counselor at 1st Baptist, Randolf))
“Keeping a Sister on Track with Woman-to-Woman Biblical Counseling” This
workshop will cover the “whys” and “hows” of helping other women overcome difficult
problems in their lives. We will answer these questions: Why should I counsel other women?
Why don’t we obey this command? How do I become competent to counsel other women?
What will be the results of my obedience?
2. Rachel Strong. Missionary Appointee
"What a Ride!" Embracing the chaotic adventures of THIS life!
We can find ourselves wondering just how in the WORLD did I get HERE? Who messed
up my plan? I didn't sign up for THIS! If you're currently tip toeing across the mountain tops
or trudging through the valley below, you will be ENCOURAGED as we look into the Word
of God to see what He has to say about this Journey called LIFE!
3. Doris Hurlbut, Pastor’s Wife, Marilla
“When the Ride of Your Life Seems to Derail, Trust the God Who Never Fails”
There are times in life that are more than a "bump in the road"; much, much more. Can God
be in these 'rides' too? How do you navigate such treacherous times? Whether we believe it
or not, God's in it and He is for us-believing it is a pivotal starting place to a journey of
deepening faith like you've never known. Come learn additional biblical concepts to help
you not only survive the treacherous rides, but walk with God through them and (what?) be
grateful for them.
4. Jessica Allhouse
“Essential oils and the windy road of life” While the “oil craze” may seem really popular
right now, using essential oils is really an ancient method of healing used by every major
ancient civilization, from Biblical times to Ancient Rome& Greece, to Egypt & beyond. Not
sure what essential oils are? Join me for a time where we will discuss what they are, where
they come from, and how they can be used in your daily life to promote and maintain a
healthy lifestyle.
5. Janice King, Pastor’s Wife, Eden

costs too much money, time, energy, food, love, etc., for anyone to place a value on the
parenting journey. It is considered a priceless and wild ride. Yet as immense as the parenting
plight might seem, God has provided everything necessary through His Son, His Scriptures,
and His Spirit.
8. Dr. Jim Vogel, NF State Rep
