offering to help you stay on top of things---
REMIND 101
What is Remind101?
Remind101 is a FREE service that provides a safe way for teachers to text message or
email parents. Using Remind101, teachers can communicate with parents more
effectively without needing to know their phone number and without having to give their
phone number out.
How does Remind101 work?
Great question! First, a teacher adds his/her class, which generates a unique code.
The teacher then shares that code with parents. At that point, any parent who sends a
text message with the code will be "subscribed" to the teacher's class. Any time a
teacher sends a message from Remind101, parents subscribed will receive it. Parents
are able to receive important reminders from the teacher without jeopardizing privacy by
sharing cell numbers. It’s quick, easy and free!
If you would like to receive these free, safe reminders to your phone or email, follow the
instructions on the right side of this paper. It only requires a quick text and/or email to
get set up to receive reminders. Remember, though, that the reminder will be a
message from the teacher’s Remind101 account so you will not be able to reply. If you
need to speak to the teacher at any time, please call the school at 706-678-2633.
When you sign up, please include your child’s name in your information, so the teacher
will know to whom you belong . Ex. Your name (child’s name)--SusanSmith (Jane)
