Community Demographics
The International Health Collective at UC San Diego provided medical services
and health education outreach to the Vinedos Casa Blanca community on Dec 6th, 2014
from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Our clinic site is situated in a community called Villafontana, located in the region of
Vinedos Casa Blanca. The map illustrates the hospitals (letters A-J), while the little dots
represent the small pharmacies. The red box covers the potential area International Health
Collective hopes to impact through more free medical clinics and health education
seminars. The red box represents sixteen square miles of the eastern region of Tijuana
where both socioeconomic and health care disparities are visually evident.
