HOLES FINAL PROJECT
Assignment: Choose one of the projects listed as a conclusion to our read of Holes. I have
included numerous choices for you to pick from, so pick an activity that play to your strengths!
Due Date: This project is due on Monday, October 21
Grading: You will be graded on the following: neatness, completion of task, spelling/grammar,
and thoroughness of answer. You may type any of the activities instead of handwriting them, but
illustrations must be hand drawn. (Effort will be taken into account, not your artistic abilities).

PROJECT OPTIONS
1) Write 3 paragraphs telling what the main character might be doing ten
years in the future. Illustrate your paragraphs.
2) Write 10 open-ended questions for one of the characters. Then answer
the questions as if you were the character.
3) Write a new ending for the book. It should be at least 3 paragraphs
long. Illustrate your ending.
4) Pretend you are going to write a sequel to this book. Write 3
paragraphs that summarize the plot of the sequel. Illustrate your
paragraphs.
5) Draw and color pictures of at least 5 important objects from your
book. Then write 3-4 sentences for each object, explaining why it is
important to the story.
6) Pretend you are going to give a character a gift- something he or she
would really like. Draw a picture of the gift and write 3 paragraphs
explaining why the character would like the gift.
