ELA Formative Assessments- ELFAS (provided by FLDOE)
Formative Assessment System - K-8 ELA Formative Assessments – Currently
available for Kindergarten and 3rd grade only.
The Florida English Language Arts Formative Assessment System (ELFAS) is an online
resource created to support the statewide implementation of the Language Arts Florida
Standards (LAFS). Designed for teachers in Florida, this resource is a database of K-8
formative assessment tasks and professional development information. The K-8 ELA
Formative Assessments can be accessed through Single-Sign On (SSO) www.fldoe.org/sso
ELA Formative Assessments tasks will be available to teachers in Phases. Phased-in
content for grade levels throughout November and December - Kindergarten and 3rd
grade content is available now. For questions regarding the K-8 ELA Formative
