 Children start school in the September after their 4th birthday. At Millbrook School
children are taught in classes of up to 30 children.
 A year before your child is due to start school you will receive a letter from
Oxfordshire County Council explaining how to apply for a place.
 Shortly after you have received notification of your child’s school place we will
contact you with details of meetings and other information.
 All children are eligible for a full-time place from the September after their 4th
birthday. For the first two weeks children will attend Millbrook on a part-time basis
to help them settle in. Parents will discuss with the class teacher whether they
prefer their child to continue to attend part-time after this period.
 If you prefer to delay your child’s entry to primary school, a school place can be
deferred. Children must be in full-time education by the beginning of the term after
their 5th birthday.
For further information please contact the Admissions Team as above.
