7th Grade Optional Summer Reading Assignment 2014
As you prepare for Seventh Grade, it is important to continue reading throughout the
summer! To be prepared for the challenging curriculum, it is suggested that rising
seventh graders read two of the novels listed below. These novels, like other
literature studies in the seventh grade, were selected to integrate well with our
curriculum. These novels can be found at the Public Library and at most bookstores.
The Mint Hill Public Library will have a copy of this book list. To help in your
selection, check out the book reviews on www.amazon.com. You must complete this
assignment before the end of the 1st grading period next school year, so summer would be a great
time to start.
