already familiar with.
Browse through the career profiles, photofiles and the multimedia interviews.
Use the “Search by school subject” feature and browse the related careers.
Use the “Focus on Careers” section of the main page to look at small groups of careers and what they have in
common.

Add one career of interest
Begin listing extracurricular activities, hobbies and interests, awards and certificates, career
preparation activities, short and long term goals.
Grade 7
The Grade 7 activities continue to focus on career exploration and introduce students to the Career
Matchmaker Interest Assessment for the first time.

Using Classroom Activity # 3, go through the Career Matchmaker Interest Assessment answering the first 39
questions and completing the activity.
Use Activity #2 to search careers by school subject and browse related careers.
Use the Search by Cluster feature to introduce the concept of career clusters and browse the related careers.
Continue to browse through career profiles, photofiles and multimedia interviews.
Portfolio
Save Career Matchmaker results.
Update careers of interest and be sure to have at least 2.
Save Career Cluster Selection results.
Continue listing extracurricular activities, hobbies and interests, awards and certificates, career preparation
activities, short and long term goals.
