Learning Goals for the week
The students have gained a basic understanding of
 the process of socialization and enculturation, including the stages of psycho-social
development of children
 the building of identity, particularly the identity of multicultural kids
 the social-cultural construction of gender roles
The students have identified
 at least two areas of injustice on the basis of gender in their home region
 at least one area where they personally can make a difference to alleviate injustice on
the basis of gender.
The students have reflected
 the most important impacts, influences, twists and turns of their own childhood and
have put it in writing on 2-3 pages.
