Old Europe Triple Creme Brie named Grand Champion
at 2013 Michigan Livestock Expo Cheese Contest
(Benton Harbor, Mich. – July 22, 2013) Old Europe Cheese Inc. is excited to announce
that its St. Rocco Triple Creme Brie was named Grand Champion Cheese at the 2013
Michigan Livestock Expo Cheese Contest, held in conjunction with the annual Michigan
Dairy Expo.
“This is another proud moment for all employees at Old Europe Cheese in being named
the Grand Champion Cheese at the Michigan Livestock Expo Cheese Contest,” says
Francois Capt, general manager, Old Europe Cheese.
The cheese was auctioned off at the Livestock Expo’s “Sale-abration” Auction, held in
the Michigan State University Livestock Pavilion July 16. The funds raised through the
auction help to support dairy promotion activities and youth scholarships.
