middle man between Head Rho Chi’s and chapter President’s and Recruitment Chair

o New Member Education Roundtable- Monday, February 9th at 9:00pm in CSU 201

 Roundtable topics will be emailed out at least one week in advance so that the
attendees have time to think of questions and ideas for the discussion.
 New Member Workshops

o Wednesday, March 4th at 7:00pm in MH102
 Please encourage all new members to attend! It is important to start off their
experience of being Greek by seeing that we are all a community.
 Fraternal Values Society (FVS)
o First session- Friday, February 13th at 1:00pm in MH209
 FVS will be on every other Friday, alternating with Emerging Leaders.
 There are 5 sessions including initiation.
 The application is available on OrgSync in Maverick Greeks forms.
 It is open to anyone and has a $75 one-time membership fee.
o FVS is a growing organization on our campus that focuses on learning about yourself,
your leadership style, and strengthening your values. Past initiates are currently serving
in roles on PHC and IFC and as chapter presidents and officers.
 Emerging Leaders
o First session- Friday, February 20th at 1:00pm in MH209
 Emerging Leaders will be on every other Friday, alternating with FVS.
 There are 5 sessions.

kind of treat.

 AFLV trip meeting TONIGHT (Thursday 1/22) at 7 p.m. in Student Activities Office. Should be
quick.
 Greek Awards meeting regarding revised structure and criteria taking place at 1 p.m. on Friday
in the Student Activities Office-around the main table. One rep/chapter, if interested, please.
 Adam Beckerleg, representative from Sigma Alpha Epsilon, is on campus through 1/27. Stop by
and say hi if you see him. If you know men who have chosen not to go Greek with any of our
existing groups, but who would make good fraternity men, he would appreciate
recommendations.
 Composite contract info request sent to chapter presidents. We are due for a new contract.
o Spring Chapters will have composite pictures will be the week before Spring Break
 Final Grades Out
 Greek Housing Meeting 10:00am on Friday, February 13. Location TBA
 Individual Greek Awards, Brotherhood/Sisterhood posted in MavSync, CoTY and Most Improved
being posted on maverickgreeks.com today. Criteria are same as 2013 packet, so build
application around that.

o Make sure that everyone is signing up!
 All Greek attendance is important and we are a community as a whole.
 Grade Reports are out for last semester.
o All Greek GPA – 3.01

 Circle of Sisterhood Panhellenic Philanthropy
 Nikki: Entertained a motion to open the floor on discussion on the tabled motion.

o Nikki: Motion Passed. Tabled until February 5th PHC Meeting.
New Business:
 Bylaw Revisions
o Nikki: Entertained a motion to open the floor on discussion of bylaw revisions.
o Mikaela: So moved.
o Tiff: Second
o Briona: We are currently working on updating the bylaws. We will bring it to the next
meeting. If the chapters want to change anything let us know. Bring the changes to the
February 5th meeting.
o Nikki: All the suggestions will be brought back to the chapters and then we will vote on
them.
o Tiff: Yield to Jasmine.
 Jasmine: Will the recruitment rules be changed as well?
o Molly: There are just a few changes in the bylaws. The recruitment rule book is
separate.
o Jasmine: Will the changes be the same as IFC?
o Nikki: If there are any major changes we will make sure to change them will IFC.
 Recruitment Rulebook
o The changes within the rulebook are highlighted in yellow.
o Molly: The recruitment rule book will be sent out to be reviewed by chapters at their
next meetings. Hopefully we can vote on it the next week.

Chapter Reports:
 Alpha Sigma Alpha
o Had a successful recruitment event.
 We sang karaoke.
o We have a TKE social exchange coming up.
o Excited for the Sorority Social tonight.
 Alpha Chi Omega
o We had our chapter retreat last weekend.
o We are looking forward to the Sorority Social tonight.
o Sloppy Joes with AXOs will be on February 21st and will be at the College Town club
house. Time is still to be decided. Look for more details to come.
 Gamma Phi Beta
o Eager for the Sorority Social tonight.
o Excited for our social with AXO.
o We are very proud to have earned a 3.3 GPA last semester.
 Sigma Sigma Sigma
o Great retreat last weekend.
o Excited for the sorority social.
o Sending officers to Officer Academy in Chicago this weekend.
