Bay Montessori Summer Camp
2015
Exciting things are happening at Bay this
summer! Come and explore our 13 acre
campus during our themed, Montessori
based camp sessions. We will be offering 11
weeks of themed camps. Each session will
focus on different interests. We will take our
learning beyond the classroom and apply it
first hand to the world around us.
Session 1–4 (weeks 6/15-7/6) Swim Lessons
Bay is fortunate to have a swimming pool on
campus! Staffed with a certified lifeguard,
campers will receive swim lessons, gain
confidence in the pool and learn skills they can
use throughout the summer. When the children
aren’t swimming, they will be exploring our
campus and participating in organized activities.
Session 5 (7/13) Music and Movement
Campers will be led through coordinated
movement, stretching, yoga and dance. Free
dance will also be explored. Songs and
instruments will draw upon the child’s love of

Session 6 (7/20) Joy of Cooking
Cooking is an exciting and pleasant sensory
experience for children. It provides avenues for
the development of math concepts, language,
science and cultural subjects. Campers will cook
tasty treats using hands-on learning during this
camp!
Session 7 (7/27) Art
Let’s get messy! During this week campers will
paint, sculpt and creative a variety of art projects.
The week will end with an art show for parents.
