RING IN THE HOLIDAYS AT BELLARMINE-JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL’S
CHRISTMAS ARTS FESTIVAL
BURBANK, CALIFORNIA, DECEMBER 11, 2014—With the holidays just around the corner, there is no time like
the present to get in the Christmas spirit! Bellarmine-Jefferson High School invites you to do just that at its annual
Christmas Arts Festival, “The Joy of the Arts, the Joy of the Season,” on Thursday, December 11, at 465 E. Olive
Avenue in Burbank, in St. Eleanor Hall. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show will begin at 7:30 and admission is free.
The event, hosted by the school’s Visual and Performing Arts department, offers a wide variety of whimsical and
wintery presentations to tickle the senses and put guests in a holiday frame of mind. Student artwork, from
paintings to 3D art, will be on display in a gallery setting. Holiday-inspired, original poetry will be presented by
student poets. The school’s Choir will sing delightful songs of the season. And as a special treat, guests will be able
to preview the Drama Club’s winter play, “Our Town,” which will offer full performances on December 12, 13 and
14. Finally, light refreshments will be served.
“We are pleased to put on this special event to showcase the wonderful talent of our students and all of the work
they have put in this semester,” said Michelle Otis, Bellarmine-Jefferson High School teacher and choir director.
