Responsibilities:
 Safely drive passenger bus to and from campus and properties on a regular schedule during “Dead Week”
 Operate passenger shuttle on a scheduled route
 Perform daily inspections as required
 Fill gas tank when needed
 Promptly report maintenance issues
 Assist handicapped passengers on and off of vehicle, ensuring safe transport
 Keep record of passenger numbers and/or log-book as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
 This position is an individual contributor and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
 High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
 A valid Oregon Driver’s license
 A clean driving record and ability to meet federal and state driving standards
 Experience with professional driving and basic vehicle maintenance preferred
 Demonstrated customer service approach interacting with customers, i.e., residents
 Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
 An equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and
abilities required for the successful performance of the essential job duties
Work Environment:
Majority of work is performed within CHNW vehicles with some work performed outdoors. Work performed is
predominately while sitting, with regular exposure to vehicle and traffic noise.
