Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Marshall Township, Allegheny County,
Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Township Zoning Map
and Zoning Ordinance text on Monday, July 7, 2014, 7:15 p.m. at the Municipal Building located
at 525 Pleasant Hill Road, Wexford, PA. Thereafter, the Board may consider enactment of the
Ordinance creating Chapter 83 of the Marshall Township Code of Ordinances Floodplain
Management.
Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be examined, without charge, at the Marshall Township
Municipal Building, 525 Pleasant Hill Road, Wexford, PA 15090, during the regular business
hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed Ordinance
are also available at the Allegheny County Law Library and the newspaper publishing this notice.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Marshall Township, Allegheny County,
Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Township Zoning
Ordinance text on Monday, July 7, 2014, 7:15 p.m. at the Municipal Building located at 525
Pleasant Hill Road, Wexford, PA. Thereafter, the Board may consider enactment of the Zoning
Ordinance text amendment.
Marshall Township is seeking to amend Chapter 208 the Marshall Township Code of
Ordinances, Zoning, to remove the floodplain regulations contained in Article 1400,
update the provisions regarding the Zoning Hearing Board’s jurisdiction over floodplain
determination appeals, and revise the definitions of floodplain area and obstruction.
Copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance text amendment may be examined, without charge, at
the Marshall Township Municipal Building, 525 Pleasant Hill Road, Wexford, PA 15090, during
