PROJECT EXPERIENCE IN M.C.A ( MAJOR PROJECT )
Title: A secure data sharing in cloud storage with independent key generation and certificateless encryption
Duration: One year (Dec 2012 – May 2013)

Description: This project is about the way of solving key escrow problem in identity based
encryption and certificate revocation problem in public key cryptography. mCL-PKE scheme
without using pairing operations improves the performance and Assures the confidentiality of
data stored in the untrusted cloud. Project contain four modules they are :

Deployment of cloud includes an encrypted storage and security mediated server.

Environmental Setup with independent KGC which runs the setup operation using
the mCL-PKE scheme and generates key using the key generation process.

Identity token issuance is done using RSA algorithm where user generates their
own private key and public key and send it to the KGC.

Data encryption using session key(AES key) is done using the AES algorithm
where data owner downloads the public key and encrypts the data.

User Verification and Data Retrieval in cloud is done by the security mediator
which check the user's data request and send the partially decrypted data.

Data Decryption is done by the user where they fully decrypt the partially decrypted
content using the intermediate key and private key.
Responsibilities:

Achieves high level independent security in the untrusted cloud.

Secure way of sharing the data in the cloud.

Reduces the computational cost and storage overhead.
