The 2015 meeting of the Management Group of the CAeM (MG/2015) was held from
12 to 14 May 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa. The main objective of the meeting was to
review the work programmes of all Expert Teams and align them with the priorities of the
Commission for the current intersession period 2015 – 2018 (and the WMO financial period
2016 – 2019). All documents and the report of the meeting are available on the WMO AeMP
website at: https://www.wmo.int/aemp/node/63.

MG/2015 reviewed the terms of reference (TOR) of all ETs and revised them in order
to achieve better alignment and consistency with the CAeM priorities and relevant tasks
stemming from the WMO Strategic Plan (2016-2019). The revised TORs of ET-ETC and
ET-GOV are provided in Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 to this document.

MG/2015 reviewed also the draft work programmes of the ETs and discussed how to
compile the CAeM Operating Plan (2016 – 2019) based on those work programmes. In this
regard, MG advised all ETs to align their work programmes with their updated TORs and to
establish respective performance indicators.

The meeting formulated a list of action items as shown in Appendix 3. ET-GOV and
ET-ETC are invited to decide on their follow-up actions on relevant items in the list.
