Ignite User Conference Proposal
I’m writing to ask you for approval to attend the Palo Alto Networks annual user conference,
Ignite, April 3-6, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In its fourth year, Ignite is the largest
gathering of next-generation security experts in the world. The entire community of
attendees will include many security industry experts, Palo Alto Networks product experts,
and some of the of the most experienced Palo Alto Networks customers presenting their
stories to help you address your toughest security challenges, share best practices, provide
hands-on training, highlight new innovations, and lots more.
In particular, at Ignite I’d like to focus on finding solutions or best practices that could benefit
these projects underway at our organization:

In addition to participating in 50+ breakout sessions with Palo Alto Networks product
experts, customers, and partner speakers, the conference will give me the ability to problem
solve with peers in our industry. The hands on labs offers an ideal place to network and to
pick up new ideas from Palo Alto Networks technology partners so that we can increase
productivity and security efficacy from our implementation, and maximize the return on our
Palo Alto Networks investment.

This conference should deliver incredible value. Also, the earlier I can register, the
cheaper it will be for me to attend. I’ll submit a post-conference report that will include an
executive summary, major takeaways, tips, and a set of recommendations to maximize the
return on our current investments in Palo Alto Networks. I can also share relevant
information with key personnel throughout the company.
