New Course Proposal
Instructions: A new course proposal originates in the academic program’s school. The originator
must complete and submit this form to the School’s Curriculum Committee. Once the School’s
Curriculum Committee has approved this proposal and the Dean of the School has signed this form, the
Dean then forwards it to the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Academic Affairs to be
presented at the next College Curriculum Committee. After the College Curriculum Committee
approves the proposal, the Vice President for Academic Affairs forwards the proposal to the
President’s Cabinet for approval.
Note: The College Curriculum Committee will not review an incomplete new course proposal form or
one without signatures from the appropriate parties.
