Prerequisite: Placement by assessment, completion of READ 090 with a grade of "C" or better, or
equivalent. Reading Improvement II is an advanced course in reading and vocabulary development that
emphasizes academic reading tasks. Students are provided with instruction and practice that will prepare
them to successfully meet the full range reading demands typical of entry-level college courses.
