Lab: Exterior Angle Sum Theorems
PART 1:
1. Construct Ray AB, Ray BC and Ray CA
2. What shape is inside the rays?
3. How many degrees are in the inside of the figure?
4. Look at all the exterior angles…What do you think their sum is?
5. Print LP9: Pt 1a with your name.
6. Click the arrow tool but hold down. Select the arrow tool with the two rays.
7. Highlight the entire sketch.
8. Drag one edge from one side of the shape to the other. The shape should shrink.
What happens when the shape gets really small? What is left? What is the sum of
the leftover angles?...Type your findings in a text box with your name and

What do we notice about the leftover angles???? Try creating 2 more shapes with 6
or more sides and shrink them. See if your ideas hold true. Print out at least one
before and after shot.
