Welcome to Session 502 – Exotic Animal Husbandry for Technicians,
Part I
Dr. Berlinski attended Ross University School of Veterinary
Medicine and completed clinical rotations at Louisiana State
University. He worked in private practice as an exotics practitioner
for three years, than became staff veterinarian for the Potawatomi
Zoo in South Bend, Ind. He later became the first full-time staff
veterinarian for the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids, Mich., where
he was instrumental in developing the veterinary medicine
program. In 2009, Dr. Berlinski joined the Toledo Zoo. His
hobbies include martial arts and cultivating Bonsai trees.
