Meeting Minutes
June 13, 2002
Attendees: George Borrell, Paula Baker, Lori Nelson, Joe Dalman, Rhonda VanTuyl, Pat Janostin, Bob

Secretary: Paula Baker – March and April minutes were reviewed.
Joe Dalman made a motion to approve the March minutes. Lori Nelson second. Approved

Thank you notes from Carl Ness, Benny Nordstrom, Zack Turgeon were received (scholarships)
Treasurer: Sharon Puchalski – Proposed Budget was reviewed
 Closed account with Prins Bank and opened new account with Wells Fargo. Paid a $50 fee for
new checks, etc.
 Need to get George as authorized signer at Wells
 Will keep the $5,000 CD at Prins for now
 Adopt-A-Family: Lori Nelson reported the girls booster budget $600 this coming season

 Calendar of Events (Paula)– Updating with STP and will send out by june 19th
 Blast Emails (Paula) have sent STP and Weight Training emails
 Facebook and Web (Dehmer) – Loading documents to the site

 Program Book and Pictures (Lori Nelson) Janell Blaeser will give direction. Possible candidates?

Helmet Decals & Numbers (Rhonda VanTuyl) – will take an inventory and order if needed
Practice Jersey’s (Rhonda) – all washed – missing 2
Game Jersey’s (Rhonda) – washed – all but 10 blue need repairs and half the white need repairs.
Will drop off for repair over the summer
 Hockey Bags (Rhonda) – will be ordering 8
 Scrimmage Jersey’s (George) – washed, packed and ready to use over the summer. Need to use
the check out list!

Senior Night – Went well, keep the same format for next season

 Scrimmage at Roseville? ( Lori Nelson & Sharon Puchalski)
 Team Meals (Bob Plunkett) – Meeting with Broadway and Clives will also ask for donations for
the Adopt-A-Family event.
 Adopt-A-Family Holiday (Lori Nelson & Rhonda VanTuyl) – Girls are budgeting $600 this year –
so will we. Contact QVCTV to film this event.
 Mites Team vs. Varsity (Joe Dalman)

Fundraising:

 Golf Tournament (Bob Eggerichs) on track. Having a conflict with the catering – hopefully will
resolve soon. Need to motivate Parents to bring in foursomes and donate prizes for the raffle
 Pancake Breakfast (Paula Baker & Bob Plunkett) Bob to talk to Broadway and Paula to talk to
Osseo Legion
 Steak Fry at Osseo Legion (Paula Baker & Bob Plunkett) – Paula to talk to the Legion see about
switching our Sunday, October 28th to a Friday in January 2013

 STP – scrimmages planned again – updated on calendar
 Summer Weight Training – as of 6/13/12 38 registered $2,800
 Captains Practice – planning in the works - 14 hours on ice / Steve Jones / Xceleration approx

 Look at combine into a package if 30 kids would be in the $130-140 range
Coach’s Corner: Coach Grant and Coach Anderson will not be returning this season. Hired Eric Bingham
and looking to hire one more coach.
Old Business: Locker Room – Joe Dalman will talk to Nick to see what options we have structurally.
Lori Nelson moved to adjourn and Sharon Puchalski second. Meeting adjourned at 8:50
