Late Work
It is the responsibility of the student to turn in all work on the due date. By doing so, the student has the possibility
of earning 100% of the possible points. In the event that work is late, I will accept and grade all late work for a
period of two weeks at half credit. All work turned in after two weeks from the due date will be graded and earn a
maximum of one point.
One Rule – You may do anything you want, as long as it does not cause a problem for you or anyone else.
Detention
In the event that the student violates the “One Rule”, a detention will be assigned. This detention will be on the day
of the infraction during lunch or after school. During this detention a detention reflection form will be completed and
taken home for a signature from the parent/guardian. This form must be returned the following day. Please make
positive choices so you do not have to worry about the consequences.
Absences and Make-Up Work
Students are responsible for making up any work that was missed due to absence. A student has one class period
for every class period that is missed to make-up the work for full credit. Students are responsible to contact the
teacher the first day they return from an absence to get missed assignments and/or make-up tests for full credit.
