Memorial University Sailing was founded in 2012 to bring the sport of
dinghy sailing to the student body of MUN and to broaden the spectrum of
sailing culture within Newfoundland and Labrador. Our goal is to have
Newfoundland and Labrador at the height of racing by competing in both
collegiate and open regattas across Canada.
Club members of Memorial University Sailing emanate from all
regions of Canada and have the drive to represent their university,
province, and sponsors at all of the regattas they compete in. In order to
achieve our goal a large amount of resources are required, such as training
boats, sails, safety equipment, quality coaching, and travel funding. With
your help these resources will enable us to work towards our goal of
creating an unbeatable reputation for our school and establish a society
that will continue to serve Newfoundland sailors of all ages for many years
