Purpose:
The purpose of this classroom and field training is to educate the attendee on the key aspects of
irrigation system evaluation. Common problems encountered in the field will be discussed. Attendees
will learn: common irrigation system components, how to make simple in-field adjustments, how to
develop and irrigation schedule, and reasonable amounts of irrigation that are needed in Florida
landscapes, and how to visually assess irrigation system performance.
