Religious Studies trip to Bristol Synagogue and Gloucester Cathedral
I am writing to you to inform you that we have arranged for our Year 10 groups to visit the Bristol
Jewish Congregation Synagogue and Gloucester Cathedral on Wednesday 15 th July. It will be an excellent opportunity to see a working synagogue and ask questions relating to the Human
Relationships unit we have been studying. We will also be able to explore aspects of Christian views of death and the afterlife at the Cathedral where we hope that one of the curates will answer our questions.
Year 10 have worked really hard this year and we hope this will be an enjoyable and informative trip at the end of a long year.
We shall be leaving at 8.30am and hope to return approximately 5.00pm - 5.30pm. The cost of the trip will be £22.30. Pupils may have some free time in Gloucester although they will be told to stay in small groups.
If you would like your son/daughter to take part in this trip please complete the slip below, the consent form and return to the money collection point in the exams office between 8.45am and
9.05am. Alternatively, payment can now be made online using Payments4Schools. Please go to the school website www.princehenrys.worcs.sch.uk and click the link payments4schools.
