Dear Parents,
I would like to welcome each of you to the start of a new academic school
year. I will be teaching your child Advanced Algebra 2 this term. It is an
honor and a privilege to teach your student, with your help and support
your student can achieve a high level of academic success.
I expect your student to come to class prepared and ready to learn on a
regular basis. Homework will be assigned and checked throughout the
semester, therefore I expect all students to maintain a neat, organized three
ring binder separated with a section for notes, homework, quizzes and test.
This binder should be brought to class every day. It is also expected that
all students have a TI – 83/TI - 84 calculator, if your student does not have
one I prefer they purchase one, however if that is not an option they may
check one out from library to use this semester.
My grading consists of the following components:
Test –
50%
Quizzes – 30%
Classwork – 10%
Homework - 10%
