from that season of sport. The student athlete will also lose all points and letters received during that season.
MISSING PRACTICES AND CONTESTS
Athletes are expected to attend all practices and contests. Failure to attend without proper cause/reason and
without notifying the head coach can lead to non-participation in future contests or removal from the team. Each head coach will set the standards and policy in their
program for penalties for missing practices and/or contests.
ATHLETIC UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT Athletic equipment/uniforms are checked out to individuals, and that equipment/uniform is the SOLE
RESPONSIBILITY of that individual until it is returned. Athletes who quit a sport must return all school issued equipment and uniforms to the coach immediately.
Unusual damage will be billed accordingly. Lost or not returned equipment/uniforms will be billed for replacement cost. School issued uniforms and equipment in a
succeeding sport will not be issued until all uniforms and equipment from the previous sport are turned in and cleared. Uniforms or uniform parts, including team
jackets and warm-ups, are not to be worn for social, work, or school times not related to the contest. Special allowances may be made on game days by individual
coaches. Spirit packs may be purchased for individual teams, but are not a requirement to be a participant on the team. Information on these optional items will be

used to transport students-athletes, if all district approved documentation is turned into the athletic office. If head coach allows and proper release forms are
completed, parents may transport their student home after away contests. Students who are licensed drivers may transport themselves to away contests on non
school days if the coach, athletic director, and parent are in agreement and all district required documentation are completed by the driving student and parent.
Parents/Guardians who are requesting another adult to transport their student must provide written district approved documentation to the athletic office prior to the
event. The transporting adult must sign release form following the away contest.
