(DDC), electronic, electric and pneumatic controls for the Heating Ventilating and Air
Conditioning Industry. Our primary services extend to the commercial, institutional, light
industrial and high end residential homes market places for new construction projects and

Control Solutions Ltd. is looking for the right individual to join our team as a Service
Technician.
As part of CSL’s team you would develop and have the well rounded experience of working in
a company with personnel with considerable experience.
Position Responsibilities:













meet building representatives to assess control system and mechanical systems and
provide advice and technical assistance.
be able to demonstrate the operation of the controls system to clients.
assist building operators in the understanding of the DDC software for day to day
operation, including scheduling, trending and general operation of the equipment.
work closely with the Service Manager to provide integrated support for customers.
be a self-motivated driven individual who has the ability to work the required hours to
meet the customer’s needs.
adhere to all and provide guidance on health and safety rules and procedures.
take ownership of issues or projects and see them to successful completion.
produce programs to achieve sequences of operations.
on site commissioning, configuration and troubleshooting support.
provide formal and informal training on automation systems in terms of configuration,
maintenance, operations.
assist other technicians and electricians to resolve problems debugging, integrating
and completing of systems.
ability to work independently with minimal supervision and support.
good oral and written communications skills.
Position Requirements:

experience with controls and product knowledge on Pneumatic, Electric, Electronic,
and Direct Digital Controls is preferred.

2 to 5 years minimum experience in real-time control systems programming preferred.
knowledge of controls products installation practices.
programming of control systems and knowledgeable in mechanical equipment
functions and controls strategies.
good inter-personal skills with co-workers, customers, and contractors.
thorough knowledge of electrical circuitry.
bondable.
working knowledge in communications and networking applications of fiber optics,
LANs WANs, RS232/485 Lease Line/Cellular modems and radios.
Your Role:





installation, programming and troubleshooting DDC, electronic and pneumatic HVAC
control systems.
routine preventive maintenance on control systems which will include
recommendations for system enhancements from an energy optimization and
operational perspective.
developing relationships with building operations staff to be a key contact in helping
with their day to day operations.
writing reports and submitting concise documentation on performed work in a timely
manner.
managing the installation of small controls projects and taking responsibility for their
commissioning and completion.
