Displays for creative video walls
eyevis presents sophisticated display hot spots at Prolight & Sound 2015
Spectacular display hot spots for trade events, showrooms and TV studios as well as robust,
clever and simple AV technology: That’s what eyevis presents from April 15th to 18th at
Prolight & Sound in Frankfurt, booth 9.0 C31 together with the co-exhibitors STiNO eyevis
GmbH and SmartMetals Mounting Solutions B.V. The high-res LED modules as well as
4K/Ultra HD- and Touch-LCDs and the software solutions from STiNO eyevis and the frames
and mounting solutions from SmartMetals are predestined for applications in digital signage,
at events and in TV studios. “Together with our partners we have developed for Prolight &
Sound display solutions which are directly tailored to the areas of Broadcast, Event and
Digital Signage. We are proud to present these in Frankfurt”, states Christian Massmann,

High-res LED modules: convincing for indoor video walls
For indoor video walls with a brilliant and complete seamless visual experience eyevis
presents high quality LED modules with pixel pitches of only 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 2,5 mm.
Whether permanent installation or mobile video walls for rental – thanks to the high
resolution, the professional image processing and the robust housing the LED modules are
perfectly suitable for digital signage applications or large scale information walls in show
rooms, train stations, airports or sports arenas. Ideal for TV studios: Through the integrated
image processing an uncomplicated adjustment of the color temperature via software is
possible with a few mouse clicks. With the high flexibility as a modular system the LED
modules can also be arranged in mobile video walls in the event and presentation sector.
Here, hanging as well as standing installations are possible, even concave arrangements are
no problem.
4K up to 98‘‘: eyevis presents enlarged 4K Ultra HD product range
Highest resolution, vivid images, multi touch surface as well as large-surface representation
for digital signage-applications or the application behind and in front of the camera in TV
studios: Those are the features of the new 85’’ Ultra HD-LC display with a refresh rate of
50/60 Hz, an Ultra HD resolution of 3.840 x 2.160 pixels and an OPS compatible EPU slot for
an eyevis processing unit (as split controller) or alternatively as connectivity extensions to
3G-SDi or HDBaseT. For events and showroom applications eyevis presents the display with
a Tip & Touch stand from SmartMetals. This way, the display can be used in an upright or a
lying position.
The EYE-LCD-9800-QHD-LD is eyevis latest development in the fields of ultra-high
resolution displays. The device features a screen diagonal of 98 inch (ca. 248 cm) and pinsharp 4K/Ultra-HD resolution with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. Direct LED backlight technology
provides uniform illumination of the screen with best brightness and contrast. The display can

also process lower resolution signals with up-scaling on the entire screen. The display of four
individual sources in full HD resolution in a 2×2 matrix is also possible.
Extra narrow bezel LCDs for seamless and modular video walls
For seamless modular video walls in TV studios or showrooms eyevis has developed the
55’’-LCD type EYE-LCD-5500-XSN-LD-FX-700. Best image quality even in bright ambient
light: With the extra narrow bezel of only 3.5 mm, full HD resolution and Direct-LED backlight
technology with a high brightness of 700 cd/m² the displays are perfectly suitable for larger
video walls in demanding applications. With the Flying set mounting from SmartMetals
hanging arrangements are also possible.
Digital Signage Displays from eyevis and STiNO eyevis
For Digital Signage applications and interaction at POS and POI eyevis and STiNO eyevis
present display/software bundles consisting of the new 55’’ multi touch display type EYELCD-5500-OPS-TOUCH-6IR with integrated eyevis processing unit and the software
touchPromoter for multi touch kiosk- and presentation applications. With touchPromoter user
can create interactive presentations for multi touch displays with just a few clicks. Thereby,
several apps like Swipe, Puzzle, Google Maps, Kiosk- Browser, eBook and others provide
manifold interaction possibilities. Additionally, due to the integrated OPS-compatible
processing units (EPUs), the multi touch display from eyevis supports an easy installation. It
can directly be connected to a standard-IP-network without the need for a graphics controller.
