Central Solutions Water Division is currently recruiting a high-calibre, experienced Programme Engineer
to join its Limerick based team to support the EPA funded National Large Water Users Community of
Practice (CoP).
About the Job
The Large Water Users CoP is comprised of water intensive manufacturing and public
sector organisations across Ireland and the role will combine a mix of on-site water optimization
assignments and coordination support to the network of large water users.
The successful applicant will play a key role in helping lead and grow the current Community of Practice
and also input to R&D projects. The role will combine a mix of delivering on-site water mapping,
business case development, audits and optimization projects at member sites along with providing
overall coordination support to the national network of large water users.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate is required to be a proven self-starter and will have at a minimum an honours
primary degree (ideally masters) in environmental engineering/energy management/civil engineering or
related disciplines with strong project management and organisational skills.
In addition they will have strong environmental consulting ability, a deep understanding of major water
processes at industrial and municipal sites along with excellent IT and data management skills. They will
require excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to manage
relationships at all levels within the company and with the member organisations across Ireland. They
will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.
In addition knowledge of and/or experience in the following areas would be an advantage.
 Lean Six Sigma Methodologies
 Financial Analysis and Business Case Development
 Water and related Standards
 Resource Mapping and carrying out resource audits
 IT and data management for monitoring and verification purposes
 Automation and control systems
 National and European funding opportunities for resource efficiency projects
