Introduction and aims: This is an example of the layout and style to be adopted in
preparing abstracts for submission to the Symposium “CIB W62 – Water Supply and
Drainage for Buildings”. The aim of this example is to organize the contents of the
abstract. Please, follow this structure: propose with introduction and aims, method,
results and conclusion and contributions. Method: Abstract should be of the entire
paper, not of the conclusions alone. It should be a self-contained text that summarises,
in one paragraph, the aims, scope and conclusions of the paper. Please provide an
abstract of not more than 300 words and limit the use of keywords to five. Results and
conclusion: The results and conclusion must be presented here. Contributions: Please, present
here the contributions of the research and avoid mentioning commercial names unless
essential for understanding.
