Parts of Speech – NOUNS
A noun is a word that names a person, a place, a thing, or an idea.
Types of nouns:
 Common Noun – names any person, place, thing, or idea.

Proper Noun – names a particular person, place, thing, or idea.

Singular – names one person, place, thing, or idea

Plural Noun – names more than one person, place, thing, or idea

Possessive Noun – shows ownership or possession of things or qualities

Appositives – a noun that is placed next to another noun to identify it or add information
about it.
