NGSS Standards
This year, OLHMS will be
incorporating new Common Core
State Standards for Science. The “Next
Generation Science Standards” will
aim to focus on college and career
readiness.
The content that will be covered this
year will include:
Welcome to the new School Year!!
Welcome to 7th Grade Science! It is my goal to help each and
every student succeed academically. I’m excited about the
opportunity to get to know you, and I’m looking forward to a happy,
successful and productive school year. Do not be afraid to ask me for
help, if needed!
The mission of Oak Lawn-Hometown School District 123, as a
district striving for excellence, is to ensure that each student learns
the skills, acquires the knowledge, and develops the behaviors and
