Teddy Bear Corner:
As the weather is starting
to feel like summer we have been going outside more!!
The kids are loving going for a ride in the stroller and just
being outdoors. We had to say Good-Bye to our friend
Brentley for the summer. Mila has been doing a great job
with rolling over and Annaliyah is working hard on
getting to the crawling position. We hope everyone has
a great & safe 4th of July

Green Room:
The month of June has a month of
gardening in the Green Room. We spent a few weeks talking
about veggies we grow in the garden, smelt and tasted a
bunch of them and even planted our own beans and squash
plants! We also spent some time learning about flowers and
how they grow. For a science experiment we got make white
flowers change colors when they drank water with food
coloring in it! We also have had many visitors over the past
month, as well as taken a few trips to the library to watch a
puppet show and play with musical instruments!
June has been a fun & busy start to
summer for Yellow Room! We
have been doing lots of activities and spending more time
outside! We started the month off with a visit to the Dairy
Queen which was a highlight for our little ones. They
especially liked seeing a duck swimming in the fountain on
our way there  We also made a few visits to the library
and was even able to watch a great Puppet Show! The kids
also enjoyed petting the kitties from the Humane Society,
playing games and listening to a story from the Dairy
Princess, and exploring plants with the Master Gardeners.
Next month, we can’t wait to be in the 4th of July Parade!
(on July 2nd ) We are also excited that the Fire Department,
and Police Department are coming for a visit and we are
planning another trip to the Dairy Queen that the kids are
very excited about! We will also be learning about the Post
Office, recycling, visiting with Penny the Therapy Dog and
the 4-H Club. We have a lot of exciting activities coming up
in the next month and I am very excited for our little ones!

Rainbow Room: I am extremely proud of how far
exciting summer so far! Within the last couple of weeks, we
have welcomed a few new friends into our room and have
enjoyed getting to know them. We’ve also been busy with the
visitors that have come to Wee Pals and have enjoyed our trips
to the library and to Cabela’
s. Big Pals have been
working very hard on their reading and read 30 minutes a day!
Because of this, they each earned a free book from the Public
Library! Within the last month, we have learned about theater,
everyone in the rainbow room has progressed on their
letters. We have been working hard every day on letters, as
well as numbers. Our main goal for July is to practice writing
our numbers 0-10 and verbally count to 20. We will
continue writing our names and letters as well. Possible
themes for July are: Animals, Colors, Spanish, and
Instruments. Weather permitting, we will be outside a lot –
so PLEASE bring a swimsuit and towel for water days. I
intend to prepare lesson plans that include activities and
crafts that can be done outside. I hope everyone has a
wonderful Fourth of July! 
