How the Weiner Roast Silent Auction Works:







Go into the house via the entrance under the deck – that’s where the silent auction baskets are.
Browse a bit and have fun!
When you find something you’d like to buy, check the bid sheet to see what the highest bid is at
the moment… and if you want to bid on it too, add the minimum increment to the existing bid
and write your name/phone on the line next to it. For example, if the highest bid on a basket is
$15, and the increment is $5, your bid must be at a minimum $20.
At 5:30 pm, the bid sheets will be collected and whoever is the highest bid will have won that
basket. You DO NOT need to be present when the bidding ends to win a basket.
We will post the names of winning bidders prominently in the yard. If you have won an item,
please visit the payment desk in the driveway and pay for it using cash, check or your credit card.
Payment desk will give you a form (showing the Basket ID number listed in this auction booklet)
to bring to the silent auction room -- hand it to the monitor to come claim your basket.
If you are not present at the end of the event, Janet Weiner will contact you for payment and to
arrange for delivery/pick-up of your basket. Please honor your commitment to buy the baskets
that you have bid on, even if you have to leave the event early.
