Host Scheduling Information
Note: Please download and save this version to your computer and then upload your
completed responses to the NCAA Championships Host and Bid Portal.
1. Dates and times for first- and second-round competition.
SECTION 1: SINGLE GENDER SITE (MEN ONLY)
Men must play Friday-Saturday, unless extenuating circumstances exist. If extenuating
circumstances do exist and you want to play Saturday-Sunday, you must provide
explanation:
If your institution has a minimum of three backup indoor courts within a 30-mile radius of
the outdoor competition facility, match times must be determined using Option One below.
If your institution does NOT have the minimum number of backup indoor courts, match
times must be determined using Option Two below.
The host institution must play the second match on the first day of competition. All match
times are subject to final approval by the Division I Tennis Committee.
OPTION 1 (minimum of three backup indoor courts available):
Friday - Match One should not start before 10 a.m. local time.
Match Two should be publicized as "not before (three hours after start of Match
One)."
Potential match times:
10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Noon and 3 p.m.
1 and 4 p.m.
2 and 5 p.m.
3 and 6 p.m.
4 and 7 p.m.
Saturday - Potential match times:
If Friday matches started at:
10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Noon and 3 p.m.
1 and 4 p.m.
2 and 5 p.m.
3 and 6 p.m.
4 and 7 p.m.
Then Saturday match will start at:
10 a.m., 11 a.m., Noon or 1 p.m.
11 a.m., Noon, 1 p.m. or 2 p.m.
Noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. or 3 p.m.
1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. or 4 p.m.
2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. or 5 p.m.
3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. or 6 p.m.
4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. or 7 p.m.
A site may request an earlier start time on Saturday due to heat-related conditions, subject to
committee approval.
Please list your preferred dates and match times. No deviation from the times listed is
permitted as the committee communicates these times to the participating teams immediately
following the selections announcement.

SECTION 2: DUAL GENDER SITE
Please note that you must complete Section 2 of BOTH the men's and women's facility
evaluation forms if your institution is submitting a bid to host both genders.
The following competition schedule must be adhered to if your institution is submitting a bid
to host both men's and women's competition.
The men will play Friday-Saturday and the women will play Saturday-Sunday.
The host institution must play the second match on the first day of competition. All match
times are subject to final approval by the Division I Tennis Committee.
Note: If a host site has 12 courts, men's and women's matches may be played simultaneously
on Friday and Saturday only. Match times must be selected from Options 1 or 2 under
Section 1 (Single Gender Site). If an institution wishes to schedule matches differently that
what is prescribed, it must receive prior approval from the tennis committee.
